The city of Calpe has announced that it will open an office for citizens in the old town of Calpe from February 5th.
The office is located at 24 Cervantes Street, with the entrance in Plaza del Mosquit. This office will be open to the public on Wednesdays (except public holidays) from 5:00-19:00 pm during the months of February, March and April.
Pilar Cabrera, the councillor responsible for the revitalisation of the old town, has stated that "the aim of this new office is to get closer to the people who live in the old town, in order to listen to their demands and wishes in a close and direct way".
"We are aware that most of the people who live in the Old Town are elderly people for whom the way to the Town Hall can be a problem. With this office we want to be closer to them," Cabrera added.
