With the aim of promoting the use of sustainable means of transportation such as the bicycle, Calp City Council has launched a program to hand over the four electric bicycles owned by the City Council to city employees so that they can use them to travel from their homes to their workplaces.
The bikes must be available during working hours so that each employee can use them for work purposes. At the end of the day, the employee to whom the bicycle is assigned can use it to go home and return to work the next day. The bicycle may be available for 2 consecutive calendar months within the scope of this regulation. If no further applications are received after this period, the concession can be extended on request.
The employee also undertakes to use the bicycle and its battery properly and to keep it at an optimum state of charge. Bicycles may not be used for private purposes beyond the purpose of this allocation program.
