Taller Prevención de Incendios Forestales 2025
Wednesday, 23 December, 2020 - 21:30

A total of 309 students from IES Ifac participated in the gender violence prevention workshops organised online by the Equality Department.

The workshops were aimed at 4th year secondary school students as well as high school students of science, humanities and social sciences and were made possible thanks to the collaboration with Ifac High School.

The aim of these workshops was to make visible the social problem of human trafficking for sexual exploitation, to raise awareness and sensitise the students that it is a crime against human rights, one of the cruellest forms of violence against women and children.

In the workshops, students were told that trafficking in women is a form of slavery in which women become a commodity to be sexually exploited, whether through prostitution, sex tourism or pornography, and to which anyone can be subjected, as it makes no distinction in terms of race, nationality, etc.
