Calpe Town Hall will commemorate the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women - 25 N - with a programme of activities under the slogan #ViolenciaInvisible. The aim is to address those aspects of this social scourge that are hidden or barely talked about.

The programme will start next Tuesday 14th November with the talk "#Viva el amor del bueno" by Psico Woman, aimed at students of the IES Ifach, in which they will talk about models of relationships based on good treatment and those toxic practices in relationships that are often considered normal and, therefore, invisible.

On Wednesday 15 November at 12 noon, the open-air exhibition "From the inside in" will be inaugurated in the old town. The exhibition consists of 10 windows with veiled images depicting violent situations that may go unnoticed by the neighbourhood. The aim is to give visibility to gender violence and how it is hidden inside homes.

On the same day at 7 p.m. "Mortal Morada", a dramatisation of "El Indulto" by Emilia Pardo Bazán, will be performed in the Saló Blau, an activity organised by the Association of Women for Equality, followed by a conference on the invisibility of psychological violence. On Friday 17 November at 8 p.m., Pepa Cases will offer the monologue "Sóc Hiperactiva" (I'm Hyperactive) in the Saló Blau. In it, the actress will reflect on the small, everyday sexist issues that have often been normalised and are still invisible.

Another issue that will be dealt with is sexual violence against women with disabilities, through a talk given by sexologist Paula Peña, on Tuesday 21 November at 6.30 pm in the Saló Blau. The aim of the talk will be to break down myths and address the difficulties that women with disabilities may have with maternity, sexuality, intimacy, consent, and sexual health, as well as discrimination and gender or sexual violence.

On Thursday 23 November at 6.30 p.m. at the Saló Blau, the talk "Educando proteges, de las APPs infantiles a Onlifans" (Educating you protect, from children's APPs to Onlifans) will deal with an issue that is more common than it seems, how young people end up being consumers or producers on websites such as Onlyfans. It addresses issues such as sharenting, the use of devices by minors, and the sending of sexualised images and videos.

The City Council will hold the institutional act of 25-N on Friday 24 November at 12 noon with the reading of an institutional declaration at 12 noon in the Plaza Miguel Roselló.
