To disseminate municipal information and promote its tourist attractions. With this aim, Calpe Town Council has launched an institutional and tourist campaign through digital screens located in the post offices of 15 Spanish cities. On the one hand, the aim is to promote and disseminate municipal news information on the two outdoor screens of the Calpe office and, on the other hand, to promote the tourist attractions of the town on the indoor screens of 14 Spanish capitals.

 

The idea is to take advantage of this new communication channel of the Sociedad Estatal de Correos y Telégrafos, which offers the possibility of choosing from more than 450 offices throughout Spain to advertise the municipality. In this sense, it is important to take into account the high number of visitors to the post offices. It is estimated that the average number of customers served is 6,300 per month in the Calpe offices, 104 million visitors per year throughout Spain with an average time spent by customers of five minutes.

 

The Calpe office will disseminate local municipal information, such as upcoming cultural, sporting or other events, as well as any other information of public interest.

 

On the other hand, tourism promotion will be carried out in the main post offices in Alicante, Valencia, Murcia, Albacete, Ciudad Real, Cuenca, Madrid, Valladolid, Toledo, Bilbao, San Sebastian, Zaragoza, Barcelona and Seville. In this case and under the slogan "365 days a year open for you", micro-videos will be shown in which the most outstanding tourist attractions such as its natural landscapes, beaches, gastronomy and Calpe as a destination for sports, among other resources that the town has to offer, will be made known.
