The guided tours of Calp's old town, promoted by the Revitalisation of the Old Town Council, were very well received during July and August, with 280 people taking part.
This free municipal initiative aims to highlight the historical and cultural heritage of this emblematic enclave. Residents and visitors alike have responded very positively to the initiative, which has allowed them to discover the historic centre of Calp from a new perspective.
In emails sent to the Town Hall after the tours, participants highlighted the quality of the explanations, the interesting content and the appeal of the different spots and details along the route. They emphasise that the experience has allowed them to learn more about the history and customs of Calp and discover the artistic and cultural wealth of its historic centre.
The Councillor for the Revitalisation of the Old Town, Guillermo Sendra, highlighted the success of the initiative and announced that, given the high demand and excellent response from the public, Calp Town Council is already working on increasing the number of visits in future editions.
