A total of 48 children from Calp took part in the first children's story competition organised by the municipal library with the Covid as the theme. This initiative was launched at the end of April by the City Council for Culture to promote the literary creativity of children in times of reduced mobility.

 

The first prize in the competition, in category A, 1st and 2nd primary school class, consisting of a tablet and a set of books, went to Melisa Alarcón Montoya for the work "Asilem sueña"; the second prize, consisting of a set of books, went to Julia García Ortíz for the work "Los dos deseos mágicos".

 

In category B of the 3rd and 4th primary school class, the first prize, consisting of a tablet and a set of books, went to Alexia Cabrera Olah for "Flip and the coronavirus" and the second prize, consisting of a set of books, went to Joan Salva Uris for "Un suelo hecho realidad".

 

In category C, in the fifth and sixth primary school classes, the first prize, with a tablet and a set of books, went to Miguel Pérez Pastor for "Una gran amistad", and the second prize, with a set of books, went to Joaquín Moreno Blas for "El extraño caso del covid-19".

 

The competition was open to all children registered in Calp, from the 1st to the 6th grade of the primary school. The prizes will be handed out soon.
