As part of operation "BALMIS", the Special Operations Command is being deployed today for the first time in Calp.
The Special Operations Command, whose aim is to support the State's actions and to assist the population in the fight against the pandemic caused by the COVID 19 virus, will be present in the municipality of Calp today for the first time, in close coordination with the other State Security Forces and Corps, institutional bodies and public administrations.
The unit will operate in the municipality with the aim of identifying the most conflict-prone areas and the most critical infrastructures and establishing a solid and effective link with the local authorities and the security forces and corps, in order to facilitate their presence and surveillance tasks with regard to possible violations of the measures defined by the state of alert in areas with a particular risk of infection.
The Special Operations Command (Mando de Operaciones Especiales) will also be deployed in La Nucia, Alfaz del Pi and Guadalest this Friday 17 April.
