On All Saints' Day, Calp Town Council has drawn up a protocol for access to and use of the town's cemeteries in order to comply with the health measures indicated by the Ministry of Health.

In this way, access to the cemetery will be controlled on 1 November. The number of visitors is set at 500 people in the old cemetery and 200 in the new cemetery. Shifts will be set up for access to the cemetery, lasting one hour. At the entrance to the cemeteries, the city council staff will count the access and request a contact telephone number for each group or family, and also measure the temperature.

On 29, 30 and 31 October, when the citizens come to clean and cut flowers, one-hour shifts are also set up to visit the cemetery. As in previous years, the opening hours will be extended so that the cemetery will be open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on 29, 30 and 31 October and 1 November. On All Saints' Day it is not possible to clean the graves. The use of masks and disinfectant gel is compulsory, as well as keeping a safe distance and following the arrows on the paths inside the cemeteries.

In the old cemetery, access will be through the main gate, where access will be counted, telephones will be requested and the temperature measured, and exit will be through the door at the bottom of the cemetery. At the entrance to the new cemetery, two corridors will be created, one for the entrance, where the same capacity control measures will be put in place, and another for the exit. In addition, due to health restrictions, no requiem mass will be held in the cemetery this year.

As regards security measures in the days preceding the holiday on which the arrangement and cleaning will take place (29, 30 and 31 October), the use of masks, disinfectant gel and gloves and the maintenance of a safe distance will be compulsory.

The City Council recommends that citizens respect health and safety measures.
