The Calpe City Council will recruit 11 people under the employment promotion programmes for young EMCUJU and EMPUJU de Labora (former Servef). The aim of this aid is to facilitate the integration of unemployed young people under 30 years of age and to offer them a job opportunity.
This is the fourth year in which the municipality has applied for these grants, which are co-financed by the European Social Fund and included in the Operational Programa Operativo de Garantía Juvenil. In this edition, a total of 212,277.77 euros will be awarded through these two programmes to young people who appeal to both qualified (EMCUJU) and unqualified (EMPUJU) young people.
Of the 10 contracts, five correspond to jobs in the EMCUJU programme, for which a grant of 101,868.89 euros was received. This year an architect, a social worker, a biologist, a children's educator and a tourism technician will be employed. This is a one-year internship contract.
The remaining six contracts will correspond to the EMPUJU programme. This year it is planned to hire two administrative assistants and four workers, and in this case a temporary employment contract will be concluded for a specific job or service. 110,408.88 was received for the execution of these contracts.
The aid is aimed at young people aged 16 and over and under 30 who are registered in the guarantee system for young people in the Valencia area.
All persons wishing to take part in this selection procedure must be registered both in the file of the National Youth Guarantee System in the Valencian Community and in Labora. Labora will be the one that makes the generic offer and selects the candidates.
