Calpe Town Council has obtained a grant of 79,813.80 €, financed by the Diputación de Alicante, for the owners of hotel establishments located in Calpe participating in the IMSERSO tourism programme in 2022, with the aim of minimising the impact of the increase in costs in the same establishments.
The hotels registered in the registry of the Valencian Community included in the IMSERSO Tourism programme in the municipality of Calpe are the hotel Port Europa for an amount of 40,048.80 € and AR Roca Esmeralda for an amount of 39,765.00 €.
The purpose of the subsidies is to support the tourism sector in the province of Alicante and specifically to companies, individuals or legal entities owning hotel establishments located in municipalities in the province of Alicante, registered in the registry of the Valencian Community and which have made their facilities available to the IMSERSO Tourism Programme in 2022, channelled through the respective town councils where these establishments are located.
This measure is intended to compensate those accommodations that participated in the IMSERSO programme with the prices set and adjusted by the Ministry despite the general increase in costs.
