With the aim of reinforcing tourist information services and improving visitor services, Calpe is once again installing two tourist information points on the beaches. These points are located on Arenal-Bol beach and Fossa beach and are staffed by tourist guides who join the department's existing staff.
The beach information points are open Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm and from 6 pm to 9 pm, although their opening hours are extended in July and August. Both points are located on the seafront promenade, right next to the beach, which is why they have always been very well received.
The initiative helps to improve tourist assistance, offer better and more personalised complementary services and provide direct contact with visitors. These points join the existing offices, the Tourist Info Centre, located in the Plaza del Mosquit in the heart of the Old Town, and the Tourist Info Peñón, located opposite the salt flats, which are open all year round and whose main function is to provide specific information, especially on locations, and to publicise the complementary services available in Calpe.
The positive response this service has always received and, above all, the number of enquiries it has received each year make its installation a worthwhile investment.
