The results of water tests carried out at Arenal-Bol beach reveal that the water is in excellent condition, prompting the Town Council to reopen the stretch of beach at the mouth of the Quisi ravine for swimming.
The Directorate-General for Water has sent the Town Council the report on the analysis of water samples taken yesterday from the bathing area, the results of which are in line with the quality required for bathing.
The Calpe Town Council immediately took preventive measures to avoid possible health risks, such as building a sand dike at the mouth of the Quisi ravine to prevent more water from reaching the sea and prohibiting bathing in that section.
