The Mayoress Ana Sala, together with the Councillor for Public Safety, Guillermo Sendra and the Intendant of the Local Police, Juan Sanchez, yesterday afternoon inaugurated the training sessions on the qualification and detection of drugs in drivers, which will be held throughout the week at the Casa de Cultura in Calpe.
The course is aimed at Calpe Local Police officers and will be taught by experts in the field both in the police and judicial field.
During all the afternoons of this week the police officers will learn techniques in the preparation of car controls, how to signal them, how to avoid escapes, the handling of drug detection tests, their sanction, the custody of the tests, their referral to the laboratories and their subsequent submission to judicial disposition.
A complex process that will also have a practical component with real controls.
