Calp has already approved the bases that will govern the granting of "Paréntesis" aid under the Plan Resiste promoted by the Generalitat Valenciana. The plan provides 1,545,222 euros in Calp for the self-employed and micro-enterprises affected by the Covid. To this end, the City Council is providing 231,783 euros, which is 15% of the total and complements the 62.5% provided by the Generalitat and 22.5% contributed by the Provincial Council.

From Monday 22 February up to and including 5 March, you can apply electronically for this aid. This aid will be granted directly and may benefit natural and legal persons who fulfil the status of self-employed or micro-enterprises that carry out one of the activities mentioned in the decree, provided they are in operation on 31 December 2020.

The economic activity must be carried out by a self-employed person or a micro-enterprise with no more than 10 employees who are registered in the social insurance or in the corresponding professional mutual insurance company and in the State Tax Administration Agency on 31 December 2020. They must also be registered in the Municipal Registry of Economic Activities Tax (IAE) and the tax address must be located in the municipality of Calp. If there are no premises assigned to the activity, the tax residence must be located in the Municipality of Calp before 31 December 2020.

The standard application form regulated by the call for applications will be available on the Calp municipal website www.calp.es, as will the rules of the call for applications.

The aid is aimed at self-employed persons and micro-enterprises in the economic sectors mentioned in the regulation: Hotels and lodging establishments, campsites and caravan parks, restaurants and snack bars, provision of meals for events and beverage establishments. It also covers other activities such as film projection, travel agencies, tour operators, other booking services, the organization of congresses and fairs, performing arts and ancillary activities, the management of theatres, the management of sports facilities, the activities of sports clubs, gyms and other sporting activities, the activities of amusement parks and other recreational and entertainment activities.

The program consists of a direct subsidy of 2,000 euros for each self-employed person or micro-enterprise, increased by an additional 200 euros per employee affiliated to the social security system on 31 December.

Participation in this aid is compatible with subsidies, aid, income, or resources from national, EU or international administrations or public or private bodies and is granted for the same purpose provided for in this decree. The condition for compatibility is that the amount of the aid, alone or in combination with others, does not exceed the cost of the subsidized activity.
