The Calpe City Awards Committee met on the occasion of the award of the "Jaume Pastor i Fluixà 9 d' Octubre" awards by the City of Calpe and unanimously decided to award Jacinto Moragues Mauri the highest award in this year's edition.
Born in Calpe, Moragues is a doctor of chemistry and has invented and co-invented 107 patents in Spain, 4 in the United States, 18 in Great Britain and 7 in Europe. Of all these patents, the most famous is undoubtedly the "Almax".
In addition to this award during the Gala, which will take place on 9 October, the following awards will be presented:

- Corbata de la Villa de Calp: MOFTAG (Mighty Oaks Tiny Acorns Grow).
