The positive aspect of the intense rains of the last few days is the replenishment of the groundwater, which supplies the community with water. Aguas de Calpe, the company responsible for water management, has pointed out that the Lucifer well in the Vall de Laguar valley, Calpe's main groundwater well, has reached the highest level of its reserves. In the Vall de Laguar valley, almost 400 litres per square metre were measured during these four rainy days.

It should be remembered that so far there has been a drought throughout the Confederación Hidrográfica del Xúquer and that the rains of the last few days guarantee water supplies for the rest of the year.

However, Aguas de Calpe is committed to responsible water consumption and continues to renew pipelines and optimize systems to make consumption more efficient, as well as other emergency instruments such as the Barranc desalination plant.
