The "Reciclar para ConserMar" campaign arrives at La Fossa beach in Calpe, with the aim of raising public awareness of the benefits of recycling for the environment and the importance of not abandoning waste on the beaches.
This is the fourth edition of this initiative promoted by Ecoembes and the Regional Ministry for the Environment, Water, Infrastructures and Territory, with the collaboration of 15 coastal town councils in the Valencian Community.
The ConserMar team, located on the Fossa beach, will answer citizens' questions about where and how to dispose of a particular waste product, making it possible to recycle it later. These on-site actions make it possible to reach the largest possible number of residents and raise awareness of the importance of recycling in any situation and in any place.
After its passage along the Valencian coast, the campaign in the province of Alicante has been developed on the beach of Altea and Xàbia and from tomorrow it continues in Alicante (12th July), La Vila Joiosa (13th July), Dénia (14th July) and Teulada Moraira (17th July).
ConserMar will then move on to the province of Castellón, specifically to the beaches of Oropesa, Peñíscola, Torreblanca, Almassora, Castellón, Benicàssim and Benicarló, where it will end on 26 July.
