Their Majesties Melchor, Gaspar and Balthazar will visit Calpe on 5th January in a parade full of surprises. This was stated by the president of the 2024 Fiestas Commission, Saray Ortiz, the commission organising the event, who revealed that it will have a "more ancient and traditional" character. "The aim is to surprise the children of Calpe and to ensure that they experience the parade from start to finish with the greatest enthusiasm," she said.
The parade will include the participation of this year's festeros as well as the prefesteros of 2024. The music for the parade will be provided by the Xaranga la Xarlotà, the Colla de Xirimiters El Carellot, the Unió Musical Calpe Ifach, Clau de Fa and a band from Petrer.
The parade will start at 5pm from Plaza Colón and will continue along Avenida Gabriel Miró, Plaza Constitución, Avenida Ifach, Avenida Justicia, Llibertat, de Fora, Plaça del Mosquit, Purísima and Santísimo Cristo until it reaches the Virgen de las Nieves Church. There they will adore the Baby Jesus and hand out presents to the children of Calpe.
