The Commerce and Creama of Calpe Town Council is launching a competition under the name "Fill your shopping trolley with happiness" with the aim of rewarding consumers of Calpe commerce. The Department of Commerce and Creama have organised a competition in which 80 shopping trolleys will be raffled off to encourage people to buy from local shops over the Christmas period.
Those of legal age who are resident in Spain and who present a purchase receipt for an amount equal to or greater than €20 in the period between 11 and 22 December will be able to participate in the draw. The purchase receipts presented must correspond to shops (except supermarkets, pharmacies, tobacconists, lotteries and betting shops, gambling halls and petrol stations), beauty salons and hairdressers.
Shoppers who make a purchase of a minimum value of €20 and who wish to participate may deposit a copy of the purchase receipt from any establishment located in the municipality of Calpe and which meets the above requirements, which will be collated by the Town Hall together with the provision of their personal details.
Participants will be able to deposit the documentation (copy of the ticket and the participant's personal details) at the offices of the Department of Commerce and Creama in Portalet Street between 11 and 22 December.
On 26 December 2023, a public draw will be held in the Plenary Hall and the Town Hall Secretary will act as a public notary. Between 27th and 28th December, each winner of the competition will be notified individually by announcement and by telephone and on 29th December, the trolleys will be delivered to the winners at the Creama-Calpe office throughout the morning from 9:00 to 14:30 hours.
