WHAT TO DO IN CALPE THIS WEEKEND (24TH, 25TH AND 26TH NOVEMBER)

Friday 24th:

• 19:00 - Switching on of the Christmas lights. La Sort Square.
• 20:00 - Event of the Calpe startup Gravity Wave together with Nature is Home in which they will present their projects. This will be followed by a talk by marine biologist Charlie Sarrià and the screening of the Patagonia film "Oceans in Europe". The event will close with an acoustic concert by Javypablo. Casa Nova.
• Exhibition "Illustrated Architecture" by Alicia Mejías. Seu Universitària de Calpe (Casa Nova).
• Open-air photography exhibition "La Manzanera under construction" on the occasion of Bofill Year. Plaza Colón, Plaza Constitución, Plaza Beato Sendra and Plaza Manuel Miró.
• Exhibition "Baila la vida 2" by Nelly Gerouard. Exhibition Hall of the Ajuntament Vell. From 3 to 29 November.
• Exhibition "Transport means models" by Antonio Tur Ferrando. Museo del Coleccionismo.

Saturday 25th:

• 10:00 - VII Waste Collection Day. Underwater waste will be collected in the Port of Calpe and on land in the Salinas, organised by Calpe Town Council, Calpe Fishermen's Guild and IMEDMAR-UCV. Registration at imedmar@ucv.es and by phone at 628222700.
• 20:00 - Santa Cecilia Concert by Xaranga Xarlotà in memory of María Ferrer. Saló Blau. Free event limited to capacity.

• 12:00 - Concert by the Youth Band of the Unió Musical Calpe Ifach. Plaza de la Villa.
• 18:30 - National amateur theatre competition Antonio Ferrer "El Cartero". Closing ceremony and prize-giving ceremony. Followed by a performance of "Imbécil (Midiendo palabras)" with Alex O'Dogherty. Free event with invitation (2 tickets per person) to be collected at the reception desk, Saturday, 25th November from 9 am to 2 pm and at the box office, Sunday, 26th November from 04:00 pm to 5:30 pm. Limited seating.
