Calpe Town Council has begun maintenance and improvement work on the Arenal-Bol beach promenade, with the aim of improving pedestrian safety and resolving existing deficiencies in the paving and structures in the area.

The work includes upgrading the pavement, consolidating the masonry wall and replacing the coping stones that are in poor condition. This intervention aims to bring the promenade up to the usual standards of urbanised areas, thus ensuring a safer and more accessible space for both residents and visitors.

The works, awarded for a total of €155,340, have a completion period of 10 weeks and a possible maximum extension of one month, and are part of the municipal commitment to the conservation and enhancement of public spaces, especially those linked to the coastline.

With this action, Calpe Town Council continues to make progress in improving key infrastructure for the municipality, prioritising actions that have a positive impact on the safety, image and urban quality of spaces for public use.
