The mayor of Calpe, Ana Sala, and the councillor for town planning and infrastructure, Juan Manuel del Pino, have visited the works on section 6 of the J road, accompanied by the technical managers of the project, the works manager from the company PROCON, and representatives of the construction company.
The Calpe Cultural Centre had a total of 26,924 users in 2024, some 3,000 more than the previous year. This is one of the main figures to emerge from the annual activity report prepared by the Department of Culture.

Next Saturday, 1st February, the Auditorium of the Casa de Cultura in Calpe will host the show ‘Recordando a Nino’, a tribute to the legendary Valencian singer from Aielo de Malferit, Luis Manuel Ferri, known artistically as Nino Bravo, who died in 1973.
On 10 February, Calpe will host a conference to analyse the challenges of the governance of tourist rentals in holiday destinations. This is the first time that this debate has been held and it will feature specialised speakers from all sectors involved in tourist rentals in our region
The plenary session of Calpe Town Council has given initial approval to the Local Action Plan for the implementation of its Urban Agenda, a document that sets out the major projects that will be carried out in the municipality until 2030 in accordance with the 10 strategic objectives of the Spanish Urban Agenda and the United Nations SDGs.
