Calpe Town Council has begun reconstruction and refurbishment work on the section of masonry wall located between points M-61 and M-63 on the Fossa Promenade, which was damaged by the storm on 14 August 2024.

Calpe has become an Adhered Smart Tourist Destination after completing the STD diagnostic report, which was prepared by SEGITTUR (State Society for the Management of Innovation and Tourism Technologies), a model promoted by the Spanish Secretary of State for Tourism.
The Calpe Local Police, in coordination with the Department of Public Safety, is working on the creation of a new unit specialising in the protection of children and adolescents, which will operate under the name of the IRIS Unit.

The Gardens Department of Calpe Town Council has planted more than fifty trees in the Las Salinas area, which were purchased through the Green Sponsorship scheme. The trees planted are mulberry trees, which will create a shaded area in Las Salinas.
