The historic heart of Calpe will once again be transformed into a setting full of magic and symbolism on Saturday 7 March with the celebration of the second edition of ‘La Nit Encesa’, an initiative promoted by Calpe Town Council, through the Old Town and Culture Departments.
Over the last few summers, there have been repeated problems with the footbaths on Calp's beaches, either due to lack of pressure or because they have not been working at all due to faults in the pumping system.

From 13 to 15 February, Calpe Town Council is participating in the Fiets en Wandelbeurs fair in Utrecht, one of Europe's leading events specialising in hiking, cycle tourism and nature tourism.
Calpe Town Council has begun the tendering process for the contracting of a service for the repair and adaptation of public roads, municipal buildings and facilities, with a base tender budget of €378,730 and a completion period of one year.
