Calpe Town Council has announced the winners of the 10th Open Air Painting Competition, an artistic event that is now firmly established in the municipality's cultural calendar and which last Saturday brought together numerous participants of different ages and backgrounds in the streets of the historic centre.<

The Calpe-based NGO Visió Sense Fronteres (Vision Without Borders), coordinated by Isabel Signes, returned this week from Kenya after a new campaign to prevent and treat blindness.
Calpe will begin its programme of events tomorrow to celebrate the “Moros y Cristianos” festivities in honour of Cristo del Sudor, patron saint of the town, organised by the “Moros y Cristianos” Association in collaboration with the Town Council.
