Calpe Town Council, with the collaboration of AEMCO, is launching the second edition of the BonoCome campaign, an initiative aimed at boosting consumption in the municipality's catering establishments, promoting the economic reactivation of Calpe's hotel and catering industry.
The Ministry of Territorial Policy has awarded Calpe Town Council a grant of €189,883.88 from the Next Generation EU funds to finance part of the project to implement a new Data Processing Centre (DPC) with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) capacity and secure remote access to the workstation.

THE SPORTS COUNCIL CARRIES OUT A SURVEY ON THE PRACTICE OF SPORTS AMONG THE STUDENTS OF THE IES IFAC
Last June, the Municipal Sports Department carried out a survey among the students of IES Ifac in Calpe with the aim of finding out the habits and preferences in terms of sports practices of the students of the centre.
The mayor of Benissa, Arturo Poquet, met a few days ago with the mayoress of Calpe, Ana Sala, and the councillor for the Environment, Pere Moll, to address the problems caused by the accumulation of reeds in the Barranco del Quisi ravine shared by both municipalities.
Work has already begun on repairing the access to Cala Calalga, one of the most frequented coves in the municipality. Its proximity to the Paseo Marítimo makes it easy and busy to access, as there is a masonry staircase and a nearby road supported by a breakwater wall.

Calpe Town Council has initiated the procedures to declare the expiry of the licence granted in December 2017 to the company Sol de Calpee S.L. for the construction of a hotel consisting of two 35-storey towers on a plot located on Avenida Juan Carlos I, near Les Salines.
