Calpe Town Council, through the Department of Equality, has created a working group to promote the feminisation of public spaces in the municipality. This initiative aims to break the gender gap in the names of streets, avenues and squares of the municipality and thus promote gender equality in public spaces.

Work has begun this week on the renovation of the pavement of the Domingo Crespo Pavilion, which was recently awarded to the company Soluciones Deportivas Ibaizabal for a total of 161,536€ and a completion period of two months.
Calpe Town Council has today reopened the facilities of the municipal swimming pool after it was closed last December following the cancellation of the contract with the concessionaire due to its numerous breaches of contract.
Calpe Town Hall has prepared a day of conviviality to celebrate Europe Day on 9 May.
Work began this week on the remodelling of the Parc dels Garrofers, the complete remodelling of this urban park located next to the Casa de Cultura and close to the Civic Centre. The works, awarded to the company Cemer Play S.L. for 230,989 euros, are 100% financed by the Provincial Council as part of the Plan +Cerca 2023.
