Calpe Town Council has put out to tender the construction project of the 21st Century Tourist Office, a modern centre equipped with state-of-the-art technology to publicise Calp's tourist attractions in its aim to become a smart tourist destination.

The plenary session of Calpe Town Council has approved the municipal ordinance to eradicate prostitution and trafficking for the purpose of sexual exploitation. It is a regulation that represents a paradigm shift with respect to the fight against this scourge carried out in recent years.

The 2023/2024 school year begins in Calpe with 3,261 students, 181 more than those registered at the beginning of the previous school year. There are 1,922 pupils enrolled in Infants and Primary, 160 in the Silene d'Ifac Infant School and 1,179 in the Ifac Secondary School.
Section 6 of road J, one of the most important urban development projects of Calpe Town Hall, will soon be able to go out to tender.
