Calpe Town Council has resolved a total of 650 incidents through the Línea Verde mobile application, launched in July 2022.

Yesterday a public event was held in the Casa de Cultura to present two of the emblematic projects of this term of office: the remodelling of the Plaza Mayor and the Fossa promenade.
Pending the resolution of allegations and the finalization of the awarding of the contract for the SUW collection and street cleaning service, the Town Hall and the current concessionaire have drawn up a Service Plan to cover the Easter week period.
The Calpe-based NGO Visió sense fronteres returns to Sierra Leone in a new campaign for the prevention and treatment of avoidable blindness. This time, not only adults will be operated on for cataracts, but also babies and young children with this condition.
The registered population in Calpe has increased once again this year. The National Institute of Statistics has informed the Town Hall that its proposed population figure for the municipality as of 1st January 2023 is 25,854 inhabitants, that is, 1,758 more than in 2022.

José Ivars from Calpe has been elected new member of the Royal Hispanic Academy of Philately and Postal History, a recognition to the long trajectory and spreading in the world of philately made by this passionate of the world of stamps and that at the moment presides the Philatelic and Numismatic Group of Calp as well as the Federation of Philatelic Associations of the Valencian Community (FASFILCOVA).
