The Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism has approved the Calpe Tourism Sustainability Plan 2026 and approves its inclusion in the Extraordinary Call of the Tourism Sustainability Plan in Destination of the Ministry.
Calpe, venue of FBCV 2022-2023, hosts from 28th to 30th April the Cadet IR Autonómico Final Phases, organized by the Basketball Federation of the Valencian Community (FBCV) and included in the XLI Jocs Esportius. The matches will be broadcasted live on the FBCV YouTube Channel.
Calpe Town Council and Creama - Calp, through AEMCO, are launching a new Bono - Comercio campaign to encourage shopping at local businesses.

Valencia Basket has been proclaimed Junior champion of the Comunitat Valenciana in both male and female categories after winning the Autonomic Final Phases that have been held this weekend in Agost and Calpe, FBCV 2022-2023 venues. In men's, Seguros Meridiano FLBA is runner-up, TAU Castelló is third and CD Don Bosco VLC is fourth.

The ordinary plenary session in April has initially approved the Climate Change Adaptation Plan for Calpe. This is a document drawn up by Global Omnium that aims to prepare the municipality for possible scenarios that may arise in the near future resulting from climate change.
