A total of 309 students from IES Ifac participated in the gender violence prevention workshops organised online by the Equality Department.

The workshops were aimed at 4th year secondary school students as well as high school students of science, humanities and social sciences and were made possible thanks to the collaboration with Ifac High School.

The President of the CHJ (Hydrographic Association of the Júcar River), Manuel Alcalde, and the Mayor of Calp, Ana Sala, signed yesterday a protocol of cooperation between the two administrations. The aim of the protocol is to draw up an action plan to solve the important flooding problems around the Calp salt flats, in an area classified as a significant potential risk area by the current Flood Risk Management Plan (approved by Royal Decree 18/2016).

The Generalitat Valenciana (Regional Government) has recently awarded the concession for the construction and operation of this mooring area to the joint venture of Marina Mirarmar, S.A.- Banlor, S.A.- Indeisla, S.L..

This week sees the end of the maintenance and conservation work at the Baños de la Reina archaeological site, begun last July by the company Alebus Patrimonio Histórico and funded by Calp City Council.

This work campaign began with the concern to remove the graffiti on the Molí del Morelló. At that time, it was necessary to prioritise and act on the Molí to prevent the paint from solidifying. The intervention on this structure has given good results and there are no more traces of graffiti.
