Calpe Town Council reports that the Regional Ministry of Education has not delivered all the furniture promised for the temporary IES Les Salines educational centre, which was scheduled for today, Monday 8 September.
The 2025-2026 school year began today in Calpe with a total of 3,541 pupils enrolled.

Aguas de Calpe has put the Corralets reservoir back into service after completing the comprehensive refurbishment of this infrastructure, which is key to the municipality's supply system as it is the main drinking water reservoir supplying the town centre.
The Departments of Culture and Revitalisation of Calpe's Old Town have taken stock of the summer programme carried out during July and August, which has resulted in more than 8,000 people participating in a total of 47 artistic and cultural activities.

The municipal swimming pool in Calpe will reopen its doors tomorrow, Wednesday, after repair and maintenance works carried out during August, which have resulted in improvements to the facilities.
