This was explained by the technicians who took part in these works in a lecture at Saló Blau, in order to announce the final results of these works, which were mainly aimed at preserving this archaeological zone and preventing its destruction.

On Saturday 28 and Sunday 29, Calpe will celebrate a meeting of trade professionals organised by the Federación Alicantina de Comercio with the patronage of the Diputación de Alicante and the Calpe Entrepreneurs Association.

On Saturday the 28th, there will be a playful event, as well as a Shopping & Tourism organised by the City of Calpe. The event will end with a cocktail and the presentation of awards by the Federación Alicantina de Comercio.

The Calpe City Awards Committee met on the occasion of the award of the "Jaume Pastor i Fluixà 9 d' Octubre" awards by the City of Calpe and unanimously decided to award Jacinto Moragues Mauri the highest award in this year's edition.

This Sunday the sixth edition of the Volta al Penyal d'Ifac took place in Calpe with more than 750 swimmers from all over Spain and abroad.

Carlos Cuesta in the men's category and Andrea Smycek in the women's category were the absolute winners of a race in which the participants had to cover a distance of 3,600 metres between Cala del Racó and Playa de la Fossa on the border with the Penyal.

The city of Calpe held a meeting with ONCE (Spanish Organisation for the Blind) to analyse possible cooperation to help people with disabilities.
