At the last meeting of the Board of Directors of Aguas de Calpe, it was agreed to reduce by 50% the amount of the allowances granted to the members of this body.
The number of directors of this body was also increased to a total of 9. To date, the annual expenditure for allowances has been 113,609 euros and with this new measure 80,806 euros, which represents a saving of 32,802 euros, i.e. 30% less.
The plenary session of the Calpe City Council held today decided to amend the city's traffic regulation regulating parking with time limits in order to introduce measures that benefit both residents and neighbours.
The Cultural Council has launched a campaign to renovate the various murals with different facades in the Old Town. The project began with work on the mural in the Plaza del Mosquit, painted by Elías Úrbez in 1990.
In order to carry out this initiative, agreements were signed with the owners before work began, as the mural is privately owned on a façade. The mural was also redesigned by Elías Úrbez himself in order to adapt the opening of two small windows to the original project.

This morning a cycle of trainings courses of the city of Calpe in collaboration with Xarxa Salut of the Valencian Government was finished. The aim of the courses, which lasted one and a half months, was to promote health in the place.
