The fifth edition of ‘Recycle to Conserve’ arrived in Calpe today. This is a beachside recycling awareness campaign run by Ecoembes, an organisation that has been caring for the environment and promoting packaging recycling in Spain for over 25 years, in collaboration with the Regional Ministry of the Environment, Water, Infrastructure and Territory.
The Soudal Quick-Step cycling team will return to Calpe this winter to prepare for the 2026 season as part of its sponsorship agreement with Calpe Town Council. This collaboration reinforces Calpe's international profile as a top cycling destination and helps to promote sports tourism throughout the year in the town.
One of the items on this week's plenary agenda was the amendment of the ordinance regulating non-sedentary sales to introduce a series of innovations.
