The Casa de Cultura de Calp will open its doors next Tuesday to offer the library and study room service. The opening hours of the Casa de Cultura are from Monday to Friday from 9.00 to 19.30. In order to comply with safety regulations, the City Council for Culture has prepared an action protocol this week.
A security screen will be installed at the reception and at the counter, and the staff of Casa de Cultura will wear individual protection screens and masks. In addition, disinfectant gel dispensers will be set up at the entrance to the Casa de Cultura and the library.
The city council held a meeting this morning. Among the decisions taken was the temporary transfer of the weekly market from Saturday 23 May to the Plaza Mayor. With this change, and after examining various possible locations, the necessary security measures will be in place.

The Mesa de Acción Social por el Covid19, which was set up at the beginning of the state of alert and to which the social services, Caritas Calpe and the Red Cross of Calpe belong, has signed an agreement on confidentiality and protection arrangements for access to personal data.
The City of Calp has agreed with GAMASER, the laboratory of Global Omnium (to which Aguas de Calpe belongs), to carry out a series of effluent samples in order to enable the introduction of an epidemiological monitoring method through the analysis of wastewater. The aim is to determine the presence, concentration and evolution of genomic SARS-CoV-2 units in the effluents causing COVID-19 disease.
